Notes |
- Donald Alfred Truss was partner with John R. Rincicotti and Major William Smyth in Mystic Shipyard. In 1939 Smyth came to Mystic Shipyard , and by 1960 was president and general manager of the yard corporation. The yard was originally founded in 1843 under the name of Maxson, Fish and Co., however by the time the partners sold out their interest in 1971, Mystic Shipyard was essentially a yacht storage and repair facility.
He owned a Reo Touring car.
Alfred John Goodman was named, in part, after Donald. He owned a .22 caliber rifle that we now own. He had the rifle since he was a boy, and it was a hand-me-down to him.
