- Great Grandmother Anna SPEARS Owned a few two family homes in the Garwood area, and owned two hotels in Asbury, Monmoth County, NJ. The relatives from Harry's side have a picture of one of the two hotels. Looking at the picture you really cant make any thing out. She was also known to handle the guest luggage. If it was too light or she thought it too heavy she would chase people out. No marriage certificate or wedding ring, it was ''Out"! Grandpa Robert Crawford would do repairs and any fixing. He was a master carpenter. One of the hotels cought fire, but we can’t fine any newspaper story about it.
