    • Lieutenant in Company "I", 139th New York State Volunteer Infantry Regiment. during the Civil War.

      11 April 1863 John Granger published a notice in the Brooklyn Eagle that he was associating with his son, George M Granger, as masons to be known as John Granger & Son, specializing in ovens.

      Funeral was held in Brooklyn, 15 October 1898. Son, Rev. Charles E. Granger presiding.
