    • Employed early in his adult life by T.R. Blank and Chet Joy at Fort Motor Company in Franklin, Earl later became a partner and then owner of Sunflower Gas and Oil Company. He also maintained an accounting service business. He was a long-time member of the Franklin School Board, serving as Secretary. He was a member of the Franklin Masonic Lodge No. 264 AF & AM, receiving his 70 year service pin on 1 July 1996, he served as secretary for more than 30 years. [1]
